Winter (Indoor) Registration 2019-20
All our indoor programs are held at the Milton Soccer Centre (which has an artificial turf field), with change rooms and seating for parents. This facility is wonderful for player development in a stress free space (parking close to entrance, seating for parents away from the pitch, change rooms per group, and a clean single-purpose build indoor artificial turf field, no spectator movement across the pitch, pitch area maintained at 16-18 degrees for playing). We provide standardized balls for training.
The objective is to develop technical skills and apply those under pressure in a small sided game. Each group will perform skills development activities according to our development plan followed by a small sided game (3v3 or 4v4 in U6 and 5v5 in all other groups) designed to maximize touches with the ball and engagement in the game. All you need to bring is your eager-to-learn child. By the way, friendships among players are a frequent by-product of our programs…
Coaching: OSA certified coaches will train a maximum of 22 players per session (1:11 coach:player ratio).
- Winter Season dates (Saturdays in 2020): January 11,18,25, February 1,8,15,22,29, March 7,14,21,28, April 4 = 13 sessions
Uniform upon request only for $30 (please re-use your summer uniform – we will provide pinnies for game portion).
NOTE: The Ontario Soccer Association considers the age of a player during the indoor season as next year’s outdoor age; this is why, for example, a 6 year old today is considered U7 during the indoor season.
